The Ammersee is my home turf: the western shore is only about 20 kilometres from Landsberg am Lech, and travel is included to every shore.

Where can you get married at Lake Ammersee?
Each municipality holds its own ceremonies, some in special places. The registry office concerned will also tell you whether you need an interpreter for the German-language ceremony.
On the paddle steamer DIESSEN
The ceremony takes place on board at the pier in Dießen; afterwards the boat sets off exclusively for your party.
Dießen town hall
In the middle of the village, minutes from the lakeshore and the Marienmünster.
Herrsching & Utting
Ceremonies in special places such as historic villas by the lake. Dates go early.

Around the lake there are lakeside restaurants, inns and farms, many with a terrace by the water. A ceremony on the steamer and a celebration on the shore go together wonderfully.
Because I live so close, getting ready in the morning, photos at sunset and a party into the night are no problem.
