The story
The small and the big moments
For Alin and Sorana’s wedding I travelled to Cluj in Romania and was there from the first preparations: the groom in his tuxedo, the rings among roses and ears of wheat.
In the church I photographed the ceremony unobtrusively from the background. At the celebration came the table decorations and the first dance, with the two of them dancing in low-lying fog.
It’s exactly this mix of details, emotions and big moments that makes documentary wedding photography. After the wedding they also did a Trash the Dress shoot in traditional costume, which you’ll find further down.
