The story
A summer’s day at Gut Mergenthau
In June 2025 Nancy and Thomas got married at Gut Mergenthau in Kissing near Augsburg, and I had the pleasure of capturing their day. Their couple portraits were taken in the garden in natural light, without stiff poses: a few quiet minutes for the two of them before the day went on.
After that I was right in the middle of things: getting into the sky-blue wedding car, making their entrance to the guests, the little glances in between and on the dance floor, as Nancy danced laughing through the hall. It’s exactly these moments that make documentary wedding photography.
Gut Mergenthau is a wedding venue in Kissing near Augsburg, with a garden for couple photos and plenty of room to celebrate. If you’re getting married there or nearby, I’d be happy to capture your day too.
